Q. Do I need to be a registered member to view the classifieds adverts?

• No not to view the classifieds adverts but if you want to post an advert or contact a user you need to be a registered member.

Q. How long is an advert displayed for?

• 56 days/8 weeks or until you delete the ad which ever comes first.

Q. Why is there only one advert per person?

• Adpets hope this will deter puppy and cat farmers from using this site since most users only have one pet to sell. If you do have, a litter of animals to sell then post them as a litter and the amount per pet.

Q. What is spam and how do you stop it?

• Spam is when marketers try to steal a user email address or other personal information to sell them products or services they did not sign up for.

Q. Anti-spam enabled on all accounts

• We achieve this by not showing any personal information about the user unless they are registered and their email address is verified. Then you can only email the person via a form through Adpets Classifieds your email address is never shown. You can contact a user via the phone if they have chosen to show you their phone number.

Q. My pet, breed or category is not shown?

• We are constantly updating our classifieds and if you see a breed of animal or category that is not shown please let us know and we will happily make a space for you in the desired section.

Q. If you are having problems activating your account or did not receive the activation email?

• Then please contact one of the Administrators to have your account manually activated. Also, check the spam filters of your email account i.e. spam bin since some email providers are a bit heavy when it comes to email.

Q. Is the website moderated?

• All adverts are sent to the administrator to be reviewed prior to posting and can take up to one working day to be displayed. Please read the rules before posting your advert, as non-compliance could lead to your advert being rejected or removed.
